WRESTLING CAMPS
Champions Wrestling School offers a well-structured summer wrestling camps at Queens University of Charlotte ( commuter and resident). In addition to our main summer camp location, we do offer camps in other locations/ or with partner clubs throughout year.
We already proved ourselves as one of the best wrestling program by offering folkstyle, freestyle, greco and folkstyle wrestling throughout year in Southeast US. The camp takes place at Queens University of Charlotte that offers great facility and recreation areas during camp, including meals, tennis court, basketball court, library, swimming pool and a lot more...
Experienced coaching staffs will be conducting the practices and and share their experience with the campers. And we are so proud to be organizing it for wrestlers from local and surrounding areas.

Intensive Camp (3 days)
(Technique and Training 50%, Live Wrestling 50%)

Practice Hour: 5-7 pm on April 2
1-3 pm and 4-6 pm on April 3-4.
Fee: $80 for walk-in, $70 for online registration, for three days

This camp is for individuals of all age groups and levels of experience. Campers will be put into groups the first day from less experienced to most experienced and teaching sessions will be organized targeting each group's needs, instructed by experienced coaches. While less experienced wrestlers will be taught the basics of the sport more advanced wrestlers will learn higher-level techniques and proper drilling. We cover stance, set-ups, takedowns, throws, trips, Russian Ties, defense and counter-offense. We stress high percentage scoring techniques that will improve every wrestler’s ability. All aspects of top wrestling will be covered including breakdowns, tilts, turns, legs and pinning.

LOCATION:
The camp will be held at Holy Trinity Middle School in Charlotte. No Lunch is provided. Check-in will be on the first day, at 10:45 am. Each camper will need to submit the balance due.
WHO CAN ATTEND:
Participants: Any wrestlers, regardless of past experience, through rising high school seniors.
Non-Participants: Middle and High School Coaches, and other interested individuals.
What to bring : Wrestling gears, sweat socks, t-shirt, supporter and towel if desired. Bring note pad and pencil. Bring change for vending machine

This camp is for individuals of all age groups and levels of experience. Campers will be put into groups the first day from less experienced to most experienced and teaching sessions will be organized targeting each group's needs, instructed by experienced coaches including National Champions, NCAA All-Americans. While less experienced wrestlers will be taught the basics of the sport more advanced wrestlers will learn higher level techniques and proper drilling.
We cover stance, set-ups, takedowns, throws, trips, Russian Ties,

defense and counter-offense. We stress high percentage scoring techniques that will improve every wrestler’s ability. All aspects of top wrestling will be covered including breakdowns, tilts, turns, legs and pinning. Although live wrestling will be limited to 40%, there will be a tournament at the end of the camp and Champions will be awarded. If you want to learn how to dominate your opponent from every position, then this camp is just for you!
Fee:
Overnight Campers: $350 (must be ages 10 or older)
Commuter: $250
8-10 wrestlers - $20 off per person if in by June 25 ($50 deposit each)
10 or more wrestlers - $30 off each person if in by June 25 ($50 deposit each)

LOCATION:
All camps are held at Ovens Gym. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided in the Queens Dining Hall. Check-in will be on the first day beginning at noon. Each camper will need to submit the balance due. Camp begins at 2 pm on the first day and ends 4 pm of the last day of camp.
ACCOMODATIONS:
Queens Dining Hall features and all you can eat menu with variety of
selections. Air conditioned dormitories with ‘two to a room’ provide comfort and privacy. Coaches will be living on dorm with campers; participants can expect nightly curfew and bad check. Possession or use of drug/alcohol will result in immediate dismissal.
On campus, Coffee Shop/Snack Bar and Game Room will provide recreation and snacks during the free time hours. Outdoor basketball court, tennis court, and indoor swimming pool are also available. So it provides great opportunity and convenience for our campers to get one of the best wrestling camp experience.

Overnight Camper:
Total fee of $350. Fee includes limited accident and liability insurance, all meals starting with dinner on the first day (breakfast, lunch and dinner). One Champions Wrestling School shirt
Day Camper: Total fee of $250. Fee includes limited
accident and liability insurance, the noon and evening meals. One Champions Wrestling School shirt.
Non Participant (Overnight): Coaches and other individuals. Total fee of $150 Fee includes room and all meals. Single Room provided when available, but not guaranteed.
***An $50 Deposit is due with each application ( Non-refundable after July 10, 2010) Balance is due on or before July 1, 2010, is non-transferable, and is non-refundable after July 10, 2010.
What to bring (Overnight Participants) Wrestling gears, some way to keep your room key on your person during camp. Normal
change of clothing for three days; sheets (single) pillow and case, blanket, towels, sweat socks, t-shirt, and personal toiletries. Bring note pad and pencil. (Optional items: bathing suit, cell phone etc.)
What to bring (day participants): Wrestling gears, sweat socks, t-shirt, supporter and towel if desired. Bring note pad and pencil.
Bring change for vending machine and game room.
