USA Wrestling is effectively the US Olympic wrestling governance organization. NC's State organization has traditionally focused on Olympic style wrestling (freestyle & greco roman) versus college/high school style (folkstyle). Conversely, AAU tends to focus on Folkstyle.
NC AAU Wrestling NC AAU - The web site itself is in a bit of transition, but it still contains all of the November - April tournament information for AAU sponsored tournaments.
South Carolina's wrestling web site. (Several states are now going throught new system that all money is used to support and invest in that state's wrestling) The SC tournaments are generally pretty good and are sometimes closer (for local wrestlers in Charlotte) than the NC tournament for a particular weekend. Also, the Charleston area has some very good tournaments each year (ties to The Citadel).
